Amiconi Restaurant is this old Italian food place in North Melbourne on Victoria Street. It’s been there for a really long time, like maybe since your grandparents were young. The people who run it are super friendly and make food that’s kind of like what you get in Italy but here instead. You can bring your own wine if you want, or drink theirs, they don’t mind.

They have pasta, sauce, and other stuff that’s all very Italian. There’s meat and bread and maybe salad too. Everything tastes like someone’s nonna made it, but like in a restaurant way. The place is not too fancy but also not boring. Sometimes it’s loud because people talk and eat a lot. You can also do parties there if you tell them first. They do birthdays, weddings, or just dinners with too much food. The people working there smile a lot and bring food pretty fast.

Upstairs there’s more space if you have a lot of friends or family or coworkers or whoever. So yeah, if you want to eat Italian food that tastes good and feels homely, Amiconi is there. It’s been there forever and everyone seems to like it. You sit, you eat, you drink, and then you go home happy and full.
