Le Petit Château is a cute food place in the city where you can eat yummy French food and feel fancy but also comfy. It’s inside an old building called The Block Arcade, which looks really nice and a little shiny. You go in and it’s quiet and warm and smells like coffee and pancakes.

They make crêpes — that’s like flat pancakes with stuff inside, maybe cheese or ham or sweet things like chocolate. You can eat them for breakfast or lunch or just because you feel like it. They also have coffee that smells so good and little cakes that make you happy.

The people there smile and bring your food fast. You can sit with your friends and talk or just chill and look at the pretty walls. It’s a good place for birthdays or to sit and pretend you’re in France but actually you’re still in Melbourne.

Le Petit Château is small and cozy and makes you go “mmm yum” every time.
