Sixta is a cozy place in Vienna where people go when they want something to eat and a nice place to hang out. It is not fancy at all, but it feels like you are at your grandma’s house — it is warm, chilled, and it smells really good. The workers are nice, too. They look and act like they want you to be there to eat and be happy rather than just take your order and leave immediately.The food? It is delicious.

They have gigantic schnitzels that crunch when you bite them, super soft dumplings that will literally comfort you when you eat them, and soups that will warm your insides. Meats, veg, and all the stuff. Whatever you order tastes fresh, not manufactured or greasy. You can tell that they care about what they are cooking. The desserts? The desserts are just as delicious — sweet, soft, and the perfect dessert after all the goodness that you just ate. You don’t even need to be that hungry, it is one of those places that makes you want to eat everything.

The inside is basic, but nice, and feels more at home. They have wooden tables, warm but comfortable lighting, and happy laughing. It is not too loud, but just nice and accommodating. You can go with friends, family, and even solo and feel comfortable.
